Oleksii Rudenko
Managing Director, Investment Banking

Oleksii Rudenko joined Adamant in July 2010. Prior to that he worked at KBC Securities, where he was involved in a number of sell- and buy-side projects (M&A, ECM, PPP). While working at Galt & Taggart Securities Ukraine, the investment banking arm of the Bank of Georgia, he was engaged in one of the largest M&A transactions in Ukraine, namely the sale of ISTIL (mini steel mill, ~USD 500mln deal-size), where G&T was a co-advisor to Nomura on the sell side. In his six years with the investment sector, he gained an in-depth expertise in a variety of sectors of the economy, in particular metallurgy, consumer goods, agriculture, retail, financial services, media, processing and telecommunications. He graduated from Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University in 2005 with a Master's degree with distinction in Economic Doctrine.

Konstantin Yakunenko, PhD, CFA, CAIA

Konstantin joined Adamant Capital in 2011 after almost three years at Gainsfort Research, Ukraine’s first independent investment research boutique. Recommendations from Konstantin’s research publications on power utility stocks (then accounting for ~10% of equities turnover) were usually ranked top 1–2 by performance in Bloomberg Analyst Recommendations. In 2008, Konstantin started his career as a junior equity research analyst in Galt & Taggart Securities Ukraine, a top-10 brokerage house. In 2009, Konstantin earned his Master's degree in economics with a specialization in innovative strategies at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, where he later defended a dissertation on European integration in the energy sector. Konstantin is a CFA® and CAIA® charterholder.
